The Heroes’ Foundation is committed to thanking our serving Military for their sacrifices by sending 32 of their children each year to summer camp for a week … absolutely FREE! Our very own Brad and Tammy Snyder, owners of the Float N’ Flag, are co-founders of this registered Canadian charitable organization, and both sit on the Board.
The kids the foundation sponsors receive a week-long adventure experience that most of us would love to have. Between the hi-ropes course and the rock-climbing wall, they enjoy campfires and archery, but the pinnacle of the week is the water sports program. This is where Brad & Tammy disappear to for the 2 weeks they’re away in the summer. They volunteer to teach these kids how to wakeboard, wakeskate and wake ski. Others teach water skiing. This is a huge thrill for the kids as most of them have never even been on a powerboat before!
